Footlights and Spotlights Memoir of Otis Skinner, 1924 is an Illustrated (33 photos) autobiography of one of America's most versatile actors on Broadway and elsewhere. Skinner (1858-1924) portrayed 140 different characters during the 1877-79 seasons. His daughter, actress Cornelia Otis Skinner, enjoyed a long career on stage and in the movies.
This hardcover book is 367 pages long and is in fair to good condition. All the pages are intact, but pages 85-95 have turned corners, and there is a bit of staining. The dark blue cloth cover is worn and the spine faded. All the photos, however, including the color frontispiece, are in good condition. The book measures 9 inches x 6" x 2".
