Swallow Holiday Ornament Copper Decoration Christmas Peace Bird

After cutting each folk art bird from new and repurposed industrial copper, we hammer it for texture, flame bathe it to a rich, glowing antiqued patina of fire oxidized copper.

The flying bird on the wing, a stylized swallow, measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high (about 9cm x 6.5cm), with our attached handmade hanger adding about 1 1/4 inch to the overall height of the ornament.

As each of our Xmas ornaments is individually handcrafted, no two of these designs will be exactly alike. While yours will be very much like the one shown in these pictures, it will also be a unique artisan metalwork decoration - hand forged especially for you!

Colors normally range from burnt orange and fuchsia pink to metallic gold and silver, with occasional flashes of purple, turquoise and lavender blue.
