The book is in fair condition. The binding is tearing after the front flyleaf.  An Enemy of the People has numerous markings, none otherwise in the book except a greeting on the flyleaf.  The cover has some spot damage, and it shows a lot of handling. 

It is a typical Modern Library Edition: Major plays of a major dramatist, inexpensive publication, well-known writer to introduce the selections.

The  book measures 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/4 inches by 2 inches and has 1185 pages.
