Ivory Cross Pendant Christian Necklace Etched Vintage Lucite, Brown & Black Tribal Beads

Regular price $75.00

For this inspirational necklace, Mollie Meserve dropped a chunky carved cross pendant from a wabi sabi* strand of mixed trade beads, each handmade in primitive style and earthy colors.

The rustic palette of off-white, brown and black, the tribal markings, and an extra long adjustable copper chain make this one of a kind piece ideal for both women and men who prefer a unique bohemian approach to a Christian statement, and authentically handcrafted jewelry.

The cross is ivory cream vintage lucite, etched faux bone, with both sides presenting a floral starburst (or perhaps a sunburst) centered within an abstract stitched-look square and embraced by squiggles on the top, cross pieces and bottom.

The handcrafted beads from include hand painted wood and glass, carved bone and antique copper. To connect the beaded front to the chain, Mollie added hand forged hammered copper washer rings, linked with jump rings to a pair of creamy lucite donuts which add interest and character to the transition.

  • Approximate dimensions:
    • The solid copper rolo chain is held by Mollie's forged hook and eye clasp; a second hook on one side allows this versatile unisex necklace to adjust from 12 inch collar all the way up to 27 inches - opera length.
    • The cross is 7/8 inch high and wide and about 3/16" thick at the puffed center.
    • Including a copper bead and 2 bone rondells above the cross, the pendant is approximately 1 5/8 inch long overall.
  •   Processing time: 1- 2 business days prior to mailing

Note: While this bohemian necklace will always be in fashion, it will make a handsome addition to a trendy layered look. (See the last 2 photos; if you don't see the other necklaces in our shop, please contact us. We'll be happy to reserve one or both for you.)

*Wabi Sabi refers to the Japanese concept of celebrating and finding beauty in imperfection. In this instance, the term applies to the asymmetrical placement of mismatched parts to create a cohesive whole.
