New York historian and writer Christopher Gray (1950-2017) who organized this book from some 200 photographs and the columns he wrote for the New York Times "Streetscapes" which first appeared in 1987.
The publication of New York Streetscapes by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. was a special undertaking. A paperback of stiff, slick cover stock and glossy stock throughout, the book is beautifully designed.
This copy, First Edition, is very near mint condition. No blemishes, perhaps a slight scuff on two cover edges. It is very heavy for its size--2.4 pounds.
