  1. Two Plays by Asif Currimbhoy: The Tourist Mecca and The Clock,1991, is a hardcover book of 127 pages measuring 5 inches by 7 1/4 inches by 3/8 inches. 
    Condition: The red dust jacket is torn at the edges, but the book binding is firm and clean. 
  2. The Hungry Ones, 1977, is a paperback book measuring approximately 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches by 1/4+ inches. The play is 36 pages long, not including the forward, introduction by Walter J. Meserve (with signature), and several pages of Writers Workshop information.
    Condition: The orange and green cover, fabric over paper and encased in the original clear plastic cover, is clean and without fading, although it is slightly warped or bowed outward. The spine is firm and the pages clean and unmarked.

    Notes: 
    Asif Currimbhoy (1928- 1994) dramatized social and political problems in contemporary India in these two plays and other works. 

    • One of few 20th century Indian playwrights writing in English, Currrimbhoy's plays have been produced in New York and other American cities.
    • Passionate concentration on India's social justice and political problems with a vivid theatrical social realism.
    • Currimbhoy died unexpectedly of a heart attack in 1994 on a train returning to his home in Bombay from Calcutta after viewing a performance of one of his plays.
