Sam Shepard Western Writers Series No. 69, 1985 by Vivian M. Patraka and Mark Seigel is a short biography emphasizing Shepard's western interests and inclinations and thereby gets its peculiar charm.
    This stapled paperback shows some handling and shelf wear but is in good firm condition.  Only on the reverse of the front cover are there marks--a name and a greeting.   It measures 5 1/2 inches by 8 inches and has 49 pages.

 Don Shewey's Sam Shepard  The Life, The Loves. Behind the Legend of a True American Original, 1985 paperback, is the best example of a modern biography by a committed admirer who presents many aspects of an accomplished man of many talents embellished with eight pages of candid photographs of his subject.
   This paperback is without marks or tears but shows browning of pages yet little shelf wear.  For quite an old paperback it is in remarkably good condition.  It measures 4 1/4 inches by 6 3/4 inches and has 191 pages.
